Bruce Drake: On Many Issues, Obama's Job-Performance Grades Are Falling

"Here are the approval-disapproval scores on Obama's handling of specific issues:

The economy: 49 percent disapprove, 46 percent approve with 5 percent expressing no opinion. Last month, 50 percent approved and 44 percent disapproved.

Unemployment: 47 percent disapprove, 44 percent approve and 9 percent have no opinion. Last month, 48 percent approved, 43 percent disapproved and 9 percent have no opinion.

Federal budget deficit: 51 percent disapprove, 40 percent approve and 9 percent have no opinion. Last month, 48 percent disapproved, 40 percent approved and 11 percent had no opinion.

Taxes: 46 percent disapprove, 42 percent approve and 12 percent have no opinion. Last month, 47 percent approved, 41 percent disapproved and 13 percent had no opinion.

Gas prices: 40 percent approve, 39 percent disapprove and 21 percent have no opinion. Last month, 49 percent approved, 28 percent disapproved and 23 percent had no opinion.

Health care: 49 percent approve, 46 percent disapprove with 5 percent expressing no opinion. Last month, 48 percent approved, 47 percent disapproved and 5 percent expressed no opinion.

Afghanistan: 48 percent disapprove, 42 percent approve with 10 percent expressing no opinion. Last month, 46 percent approved, 41 percent disapproved and 14 percent had no opinion.

Iraq: 46 percent approve, 45 percent disapprove with 9 percent expressing no opinion. Last month, 50 percent approved and 37 percent disapproved with 13 percent expressing no opinion.

Terrorism: 50 percent approve, 39 percent disapprove, 11 percent have no opinion. Last month, 53 percent approved, 35 percent disapproved and 12 percent had no opinion.

Relationships with other countries: 58 percent approve, 32 percent disapprove and 11 percent have no opinion, about the same as last month.

Environment: 54 percent approve, 30 percent disapprove and 16 percent have no opinion, also about the same as last month.

Energy: 52 percent approve, 32 percent disapprove and 15 percent have no opinion, about the same as last month.

Immigration: 41 percent approve, 39 percent disapprove with 21 percent having no opinion, about the same as last month."
