The Fort Hood Murders and “the Black Man’s Religion”

A few weeks ago, I borrowed from the library a book called They Must Be Stopped, written in 2008, by bestselling author Brigitte Gabriel. Ms. Gabriel is a Lebanense-born journalist.

She wrote in the book: “Political correctness has literally paralyzed many in government and created an atmosphere in which fear of being called intolerant or an ‘Islamophobe’ trumps concerns over safeguarding our lives and liberties.” I was stunned because her statement played out to the letter recently. On November 5, self-styled “Soldier of Allah” Major Nadal Hasan shot and killed 13 people at Fort Hood in Texas, after screaming Allahu Akbar, or “God is greater!”

But of course that massacre had nothing to do with Islam, right? He more than likely said “All of you go snack bar!” And George W. Bush, who I never voted for, made him do it, not Islam. It’s Bush’s fault!

Google “political correctness” and Hasan. There are around 114,000 hits. In gleaning the listings I found writer Daniel Greenfield who wrote: “It’s not clear what if anything else Hassan could have done that would have gotten him away from his position as a security risk. It appears that his superiors were willing to overlook anything and everything he was doing in the name of political correctness.

“Nidal Hassan is the final and ultimate test case proving that political correctness does kill. For all the complaints about profiling Muslims, not only was Hassan not profiled, he was anti-profiled with openly hostile behavior toward America and signs of Islamic fanaticism getting ignored in the name of accommodating Muslims in the military. (http://canadafreepress.com/index.php/article/16847).”

Roger L. Simon wrote: “This sad infection of our military is the most disturbing and self-destructive achievement of political correctness yet. Still, cable television spends hours trying to probe the ‘motivations’ of Hasan, as if a Muslim bumper sticker torn from his car could explain his actions or even (oh, hope) exonerate him. That way we would not have to deal with the ideology behind him and, more importantly, not have to confront our own pathology.

“But that pathology of political correctness has now been laid bare before us. More than the two handguns, it was the murder weapon in that room at Fort Hood. Those thirteen innocent people are indeed PC deaths because it was PC that allowed Hasan to be there. The question is, as it is with all emotionally loaded learning, what will we do with this new information? (http://pajamasmedia.com/rogerlsimon/2009/11/07/fort-hood-political-correctness-as-murder-weapon/)”

Ms. Gabriel, a woman whose childhood friends were killed by radical Muslims in Lebanon, warned us. Who listened?

Also I was quite taken with what she wrote on page 82:
“Fundamentalist Islam is targeting African Americans in an attempt to bypass security profiling that would normally draw attention to terrorist operations. This approach takes advantage of any resentment toward the white establishment and provides fundamentalist Islam with terrorists who do not fit the usual profiles. Dr. Ayman Al-Zawahiri, number-two man in Al Qaeda, has stated publically (sic), ‘I want blacks in America to know that we are waging jihad to lift oppression from all mankind.’ What Zawahiri doesn’t say is that Mohammed disliked the black race immensely and referred to them as ‘raisin heads’ several times in the Hadith (1:662;9:256). Throughout the Hadith blacks are also referred to as abeds, which means ‘black’ in Arabic, and is also synonymous with the words ‘slave’ or ‘filth.’ In fact, Arab Muslims have enslaved blacks for 1,400 years, and the black slave trade is still thriving in the Sudan and Mauritania. In examining the relationship between blacks and Islam, readers will be surprised to find that throughout history, Islam has placed blacks on the same level as barn animals. Moreover, that barn is where most enslaved blacks are relegated after they are kidnapped and forced to covert to Islam or die.” And Christianity is accused of being “the white man’s religion that enslaved black people”?

The Islamic pot calls the Christian kettle “black.”

In the light of the revealed documentation in the Hadith, I find it quite amusing that there are people who insist that Islam is “the Black Man’s Religion,” the Prophet Muhammad was a “black man”:

“Al Haqq”: “I think its funny and hypocritical to see how they try to take Prophet Muhammad, Islaam out of Nubia (Kemet/Ethiopia) and create the illusion that Islaam started with them and they converted us Africans to Al Islaam, and they even went to the point of trying to say that Muhammad was a white man when he was definately a Nubian (Black) man a decendant of African lineage. Bilal was Habasha (Ethiopian) and he was the cousin of Prophet Muhammad so that definitely (sic) makes Prophet Muhammad a Black man.” – (http://www.assatashakur.org/forum/islamic-n-g-e/34992-racism-islaam.html)

Historical fiction, designed to boost self-esteem, such as the Prophet Muhammad being black just kills me. Political correctness kills period.
